About
Why MIZA?
MIZA exists to bring organisational questions into focus before deciding what to change. Its work is grounded in how people, decisions and structures interact in practice.
How we work
One perspective, applied across disciplines
We work with leadership teams to understand the organisation they have — its decision-making, relationships and unwritten practices — before proposing what might change.
That view connects different disciplines without asking an organisation to fit a single service line. The work is shaped by the question, not by a predetermined package.
- Organisational transformation

How MIZA is built
Built to work across the whole system.
MIZA brings together Advisory, Insights, Frameworks and AI through one connected perspective.
Advisory works with the organisation directly. Insights examines emerging questions. Frameworks give recurring organisational patterns a structure for enquiry. AI focuses on the human consequences of technology-enabled people decisions.
Together, these parts give MIZA a way to connect enquiry with application without treating every question as the same kind of problem.
Founder
Tasneem (Taz) Bhopalwala
FCIPD | ICF Executive Coach
With more than 18 years of experience spanning social care, publishing, education, media, technology, pharmaceuticals and telecommunications, Tasneem (Taz) Bhopalwala has built her career around transforming organisations, helping leaders navigate change and creating environments where people and performance can thrive.
Her experience spans both national scale and global complexity. At HC-One, she led culture, organisational development and colleague experience for more than 25,000 colleagues across 300+ care homes. Before that, at Oxford University Press, she led global culture and inclusion work across 52 countries. Her achievements include initiatives associated with a 9% uplift in engagement, a 35% reduction in attrition and a 23% reduction in recruitment costs — bringing together strategic thinking, evidence and practical action to deliver meaningful change.
A Chartered Fellow of the CIPD and ICF-certified Executive Coach, Taz also contributes to the BSI Steering Group for Culture and Belonging, serves as a Non-Executive Director at Vincent Dance Theatre and is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Gloucestershire. She is currently pursuing a PhD exploring leadership, cultural fragmentation and their implications in the age of algorithms and AI. This combination of professional experience, coaching and research informs her belief that organisations cannot transform sustainably by changing structures and strategies alone; they must also understand the human systems through which change is experienced and delivered.
A long-standing advocate for communities whose voices are too often unheard, Taz brings a strong sense of purpose to her work. Outside the professional world, she is an avid reader, a passionate traveller and an adventure seeker, with a love of discovering cultures and a willingness to try something that gets the adrenaline going.
“A thought leader and challenger of the status quo.”
The personal origin of MIZA
MIZA has a personal origin: its name brings together two names deeply dear to its founder. She has chosen to keep those names private, but the meaning behind them remains part of the thought and intention with which MIZA was created.
